District Wide Art Show Poster:
This piece won a district-wide contest to promote the SMMUSD annual Art Show. Because the Art Show is hosted at the Santa Monica Airport, I used airplane silhouettes to convey the airport theme throughout the piece and placed them to direct the viewer's eyes across the poster from top-left to bottom-right. A major challenge in this poster was formatting a large amount of mandatory type, but I used specific choices of fonts and colors to maintain readability.
The three flyers below were all created in my High School's Digital Design course to advertise school clubs or events.
The first flyer shown was created for the Dia De Los Muertos Art Show. While simple color-wise, I used vibrant and festive colors to convey a spooky theme, and, out of my class, this piece was chosen by the committee to advertise the show.
The second flyer was made for the promotion of the second level of Digital Design at my high school. I wanted to include all the available programs along with the taglines shown, while also conveying a sense of technology and technical things like measuring.
The third flyer was made for my high school's Coding Club. I used numbers to represent code throughout the flyer, even making the lettering at the top out of spaced out numbers, and in addition, I used my school colors of blue and gold.
CTE Poster Contest Poster:
The poster to the right was created for the CTE Fall Conference Poster Contest. I worked with the assigned color palette to create a new style logo reflecting their given theme: Mardi Gras. I used overlaid circles to represent strings of beads while facing the challenge that the limited use of colors proposed. Regardless of limitations, I did my best at creating a poster that not only has depth, but a simple and professional look to it.
Travel Agency Advertisement Poster:
I created an entire travel agency branding package called Excursion Pro. This is one of the posters I made for the package using my company's logo and color scheme. On the bottom of the poster are my company's logo and taglines, as well as the name of the travel agency. I made sure to use vibrant colors to show viewers the fun tropical aspects of the company. To further convey this tropical getaway theme, I also chose organic and modern style fonts.
